Students concerned to protect Pangolins

 

Greenhood Nepal has completed “Conservation School” in Kavrepalanchok district. The Conservation School was conducted in Shree Ram Higher Secondary School, Samudayik Higher Secondary School and Shanti Niketan Secondary School.

More than 100 students were participated in the Conservation School.

The program  was focused on the most traded mammal species of the world, Pangolins.



Sabitri Rai from Greenhood Nepal said, today’s young students are tomorrow’s future, thus for the better future of Pangolin, it is most to aware and engage students in its conservation activities.

Along with awareness program, participatory “Pangolin Art Workshop” was also done in this program. Two best painters from each school were awarded.



Greenhood has been doing Conservation School since 2012 in different issues of environment and conservation.
