In the Topic of " Waste burning: Its impact and the role of youth to mitigate it" call for Participation school level Environment Essay Contest 2016.

Students of eight, nine or ten from the Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Bhaktapur is open for the contest. Clean up Nepal with the support from UNESCO is organizing the valley wide Environment Essay Contest.

Annual essay contest is organized in an effort to work with students to increase awareness on environmental issues, particularly ones that have a significant adverse impact on community health and well-being, and that communities have a direct ability to mitigate.

The deadline of the essay is on 15 July 2016. 1st prize is Rs. 30 thousand, 2nd 20 thousand and 3rd 10 thousand .The half of the award will go to student and other half will go to school to be utilized to promote waste management education at respective school.
