Vice President Yadav and UAE’s Ambassador discuss Nepal’s tourism promotion

November 8, Kathmandu: The Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to Nepal, Abdulla Al Shamsi, paid a courtesy call on Vice President Ram Sahaya Prasad Yadav at the Office of the Vice-President in Lainchaur on Tuesday.

Vice President Yadav expressed his gratitude to the UAE government for providing substantial employment opportunities to Nepali migrant workers.

He also lauded the UAE’s progress in sectors such as health, education, space technology, energy, artificial intelligence, and innovation.

Ambassador Al Shamsi, expressing his condolences for the lives lost in the recent earthquake in Jajarkot, conveyed his country’s readiness to assist in post-earthquake reconstruction efforts.

The Ambassador also invited Vice President Yadav as the Chief Guest at the 52nd National Day celebrations of the UAE.

Emphasizing the need to increase high-level visits between Nepal and the UAE, Ambassador Al-Shamsi committed to promoting Nepal as a tourist destination among Emiratis.
