23 Chitals ‘died ‘ last fiscal year in Parsa National Park

Twenty –there chitals (spotted deer) have reportedly died in the Parsa National Park (PNP) in the last fiscal year.
According to Parsa National Park, out of the total deaths in the last fiscal year, 13 had death due to the road accident, five due to attack of dog and five natural causes.
Wildlife conflict and road accident are the major reason for the death of animals. Spokesperson of Department of National Park and Wildlife Conservation Narayan Rupakheti Said, "Chital falls under the most risk as it stays near the settlement and destroys the crops."

In the last fiscal 2073/74 in Parsa National Park 14 wild animals died due to road accidents.
