Farmer sees a cave deep within Vietnam’s forests, turns out to be a stunning underground world
- Christine
While the photos that you are about to see would be amazing enough by themselves, they are even more incredible once you learn more about their backstory. A farmer was exploring a cave that had never been found in Phon Nha-ke Bag National Park back in 1991, when an unexpected blast of water emerged from one of the entrances.
From there, the cave became known as Son Doong, which is a term that the Vietnamese use to denote a “water cave”. 18 years after the farmer’s initial discovery, a new group of scientists elected to explore the cave. They were stunned to find the world’s largest cave and a portal to a whole new world.
We urge readers to brace themselves for a maximum level of amazement as they prepare to check out these photos. The cave contains its own lakes, fauna and even clouds! You will need a rope in order to descend the 262 feet downwards and this hair raising journey is certainly worth it.
The cave contains a river that has a very fast current and the scene looks like something out of a movie. The gorgeous emerald lakes each come with their very own beaches and those who enjoy observing fossils will find a visual feast that is essentially unparalleled.
Can you believe that these caves even contain a miniature jungle? Various animals make their home here, as these jungles contain bats, birds and monkeys. The cave is isolated from the outside world and even has its own climate. If you’re anything like the rest of us, you will want to make a trip to this exotic locale as soon as possible.
If you described this place to your friends and family members, they would never believe you. That’s why you need to pass it along as soon as possible, so that they are able to check the Son Doong cave for themselves. This one of a kind video is bound to make their jaws drop!
