The leadership workshop and youth forum on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)is going to be held  in Kathmandu at United World Trade  Center, on 7th October 2017, Saturday with the theme of "Moral and Innovative Leadership: New Models for Peace and Development"

The objective of the program is to develop the moral and innovative leadership amongst the participants empowering them to take ownership and leadership in SDGs. The forum is convening by Asia-Pacific Peace and Development Service Alliance (APPDSA) which highlights service, volunteerism and youth engagement.

Ram Rohan Panta Chairman of Global peace Foundation Nepal states that Global Leadership workshop and APPSDA Youth forum will provide as a common Platform for the youth where they will get inspiration to contribute for sustainable development goals and made commitmnets to facilitate the dreams of youth and thier projects to be executed into reality to inspire the news generation to coming .

The first session of the program will have the leadership workshop from the National and International trainers representing various organizations and second session of the program will have a panel discussion on the selected thematic areas of the Sustainable Development Goals. The national and international level experts from the respective thematic area will present on the topic and discussions will be held.

The major SDGs for discussion will be on Quality Education, Water and Sanitation, Affordable and Clean Energy, Peace, Justice and Strong Institution and Partnership for Goals. Representatives from Government of Nepal, Development partners United Nations agencies, International Volunteer Organizations and Representatives from I/NGOs/CBOs, Business entities will be participant in the program.
